I worked with Bill for many years at the Buffalo News, one of my first encounters did not go well (let's just say that Bill did not suffer fools gladly), but we became friends early on. Bill knew the newspaper business inside and out, was the go-to guy for answers on just about any subject. He advanced with the times, learning new technology on the fly, helping me many times with my work in Advertising Design and keeping the News afloat.
I remember him fondly.
My sincerest condolences,
Mr Marzahn, or as we called him Mr. Bill, was my 4-H dog leader for years. He was kind, patient and always there to help support us young 4-H kids train our dogs. He taught us preserve, patience and dedication. All skills I and many others carried into our adult lives. Mr. Bill touched many lives, Rest In Peace.
