ZIMMER - Donald R. Of South Buffalo, NY, October 23, 2021. Wonderful loving husband of Geraldine J. (Manzella) Zimmer; devoted father of Renee G. Zimmer and Donna M. (Sean) Bulger; cherished grandfather of Tyler (Melissa), Brent and Grey Barrie and Ashlyn Bulger; great-grandfather of Alison, Kaelyn and Tristen Barrie; son of the late Henry L. and Ruth D. (Fix) Zimmer; brother of Henry L. (late Geri), Thomas (Ann) and the late Richard (Joann) and Arthur (Ethel) Zimmer; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and several dear friends. The family will be present Friday, November 5, 2021, from 2-8 PM, at the CASTIGLIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 873 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY, (716) 824-6435. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 450 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 9:30 AM. (Please assemble at church). (Face masks are required). Mr. Zimmer was a member of Bricklayers Local #45 and Local #3 since 1957. He led many commercial building developments in the Greater Buffalo area and in Washington, D.C.
