Uncle Rory was tough, intelligent, brave and a smart ass LOL. His witty jokes were always my favorite part of his character! If you were hanging out with him there wouldn’t be a dull moment. He was very much like my grandma, you always knew where you stood with them. I could count on him for anything and he wouldn’t hesitate to help his family. To have him tell me he was proud of me really made me feel good and he told me that often. I was really looking forward to spending time with him this summer on the land with his family that he was so proud of. It’s hard to understand why he’s gone when there was so much life left for him to live. Now there is a huge hole in the Anderson family and that breaks my heart. I know they will carry each other through and keep his legacy alive. My thoughts, prayers and love are with y’all and you are so loved ❤️

Our beloved big brother, my hero, he will be dearly missed and remembered by all who were blessed to have known him. He was quite the character! His zest for life and will to live are unrivaled by none. He is in the house of the Lord and may he rest in peace. May God be with his family through the pain of this loss. Love Deb and his Daddy as well. Amen

You have impacted my life. I'm not just talking about the masterful noogies or head farts or even the occasional wedgie. (Uncle Charlie chasing us around the house with his snot rag was the best wasn't it?!) I'm talking about how I thrived on your wit and humor and how very proud you are of your family. We are proud of you too. You built an innovative industrial company and you actually had a pretty good run at gardening. But more than this, you must know I loved your "Bride" of 40 years from the moment we met. You have been a loving and dutiful Son, Brother, BNL, and Friend to so many. You have built close and enduring relationships with your cousins and aunts and uncles. You have blessed us with your children and grandchildren and you gave us the best of you and for that I thank you. I love you Brother.
